Grand Rapids Higher Education Network

Welcome to GRAHEN

The Grand Rapids Area Higher Education Network (GRAHEN) is a nonprofit (501c3) consortium composed of the 11 local institutions of higher education that have degree-granting programs for adults. GRAHEN is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has been serving area corporations and school districts at no cost since 1997.

The mission of GRAHEN is to create an awareness of lifelong learning opportunities for adults at colleges and universities in the Greater Grand Rapids area.

GRAHEN's 11 member colleges and universities include:
GRAHEN
Aquinas College
Central Michigan University
Thomas M. Cooley Law School
Cornerstone University
Davenport University
Ferris State University
Grand Rapids Community College
Grand Valley State University
ITT Technical Institute
Northwood University
Western Michigan University

These schools work collaboratively to promote lifelong learning in the West Michigan area, foster discussion of issues in higher education, and encourage employers to support professional development of their employees through educational fairs.

Employers know finding and training qualified employees is challenging. That’s why many employers offer employees comprehensive reimbursement for education.

Prospective students realize the first step in getting started is finding the right fit between the student’s needs and the school’s programs, financial aid, location and schedules.

Through corporate sponsorships and educational fairs, GRAHEN offers employers and employees convenient on-site access to the schools in the area that have programs for adults. Finding the right program has never been so easy!
